The Role

As Head of Product Management you will own the strategic and tactical direction of our product portfolio—spanning hardware, firmware, and software. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be the sole product-management specialist initially, partnering with development’s product owners without direct line reports. You’ll translate market insights and customer needs into a clear roadmap, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive product launches and lifecycle management from concept through end-of-life.

Key Responsibilities

Product Roadmap & Strategy
- Within 6 months, deliver a comprehensive roadmap aligned to market demands, development capacity, and commercial objectives.

Regulatory & Compliance Management
- Establish and maintain processes to ensure all products meet relevant EMC, safety, and quality standards.

New Product Launches
- Drive cross-functional launch activities—specifications, go-to-market planning, documentation, and training.

Lifecycle & EOL Management
- Manage existing portfolio: feature enhancements, pricing updates, and end-of-life planning.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Work closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Support to balance technical feasibility, business goals, and customer experience.

Candidate Profile

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ product-management experience, ideally with complex HW/SW solutions in automotive, industrial electronics, or embedded systems.

- Experience with Cybersecurity Compliance is a plus

Background:
- Ideally a technical degree or equivalent; you understand electronics, firmware, real-time software, and system integration.

Skills:
- Strategic thinker with hands-on drive—comfortable “at the coal face” as a one-person function.
- Excellent communication in Swedish and English.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in market analysis, business case development, and KPI tracking.

Mobility:
- Some travel for trade shows and customer engagements (up to ~15% per year).
